Matching field data acquisition and mapping tools allows the Operator to get, as daily O&M activities are processed, simultaneously:

  • network Equipment GPS points as found during field operation
  • routing data (primary / secondary)
  • data per each measured pair (vacant or assigned pair, good or not, with or without xdsl service, etc.)

This field data is used by SIGA module, an application for automated process of Customer order request in sales agencies, as follows:

  1. Location of the installation address on a map
  2. Display of network equipments nearby
  3. Click on the nearest DP
    • display of Broadband eligibility characteristics
    • check of vacant pairs
  4. Direct access to network ressources data base
  5. Pair reservation, directly by the sales agent via SIGA application
  6. Subscriber data base update

 

This process, by eliminating preliminary field study, dramatically reduces Time-To-Activation and improves Customer Experience
